Jimmy, This may not be the correct way to do it but it works for me........ :?
I mostly find my pics get rejected cos they are too big and I am US at resizing them so I right click on the pic and it produces a selection of options.. one of which is "send to mail recipient" if I click on this option it askes me if I want my pics made smaller.... answer yes please and the next thing you see is an email ready to send just needing me to add the address to so, .... I send it to myself and when it comes back I save the pic/attachment to the same folder as the original pic and its in a reduced state so I can use it to send to the forum!!!
IT WORKS ... :D

I downloaded a program called light image resizer, from a company called obviousidea. Select the pic you want, then simply resize it and save it with a different title if you want to keep the original.
Try it.

If it helps, I had the same problem. I did what JD suggests and it works. I recall it was the 800x600 sizeing and the forum accepts it. ----- Baz.

There's no pixel size restriction. The only restriction is a file size limit of 256Kb per image.

See How To: Resizing and Attaching Pictures to Posts for more info.
