Postby sheffield steel » Mon Mar 19, 2012 5:46 pm

Hi all,

I've recently finished an SD10 for a guy and he's over the moon with his new baby. I hope that you all like her too.

Kind regards,
Dave. :guitar:

I have just spent a pleasant evening with Billy Lindsay & his new Sheffield SD10. This is a magnificent piece of engineering, as well as being a thing of beauty. It plays so easily, the pedal feel is soft but accurate. I'm glad I won't be gigging with it I'm to old and it weighs a lot. Billy has a Day set up, but I still managed a tune on it, and it is lovely to play.

Hi Donny Enjoyed last night ,it's nice to hear
How my Sheffield sd10 was
being played the way it should be
played ,as far as the weight goes its about
5or6lbs heaver than a standard sd10 but for the
Quality and precision of the Sheffield
5 or6 lbs is niether here or there.

Bill, that is a "Showstopper" you have just bought. What a beautifull guitar. Dave Wheelhouse is way ahead of the pack when it
comes down to steel guitar design. I wish you many years of enjoyment with your new guitar. The next time Im in your area, I will give you a call
and blow the dust out of your amp with the Sheffield

Regards
Ted

Dave's attention to detail on his guitars is amazing. His guitars are over-engineered in comparison with most guitars that come out of the USA these days. Every single component is of the highest quality and when you order a guitar from him it is a bespoke instrument in every aspect. They sustain for days.
