Hey Matt, I enjoyed listening to your playing, there is a lot of invention going on in there, and for someone only playing a short time, you are very good, its kinda 'off the wall' stuff you are into, so i have posted this video i posted some time ago, its a song recorded by nina persson of the swedish band 'the cardigans' with a comtempory song called 'black winged bird' i think you may like it
it didnt get any reaction last time i posted it, probably cos its not country or jazz, but it does show how steel guitar can cross different musical boundaries, Enjoy, http://youtu.be/J40uVnVwpCI

I really enjoyed this, Matt. I think it's great that you're pushing the PSG beyond its traditional genres -- I'm a big fan of Greg Leisz who plays with a diverse collection of people.

As a fairly new PSG player myself, I was mesmerised by your left foot 8-). I find I have to keep my foot close to the pedals or I lose my bearings, but I see you pull your foot quite far back from the pedals. You don't seem to have any difficulty finding the right pedals when you need to. Impressive. I've subscribed to your channel so that I know when you post something new.

Cheers guys. Eddie, I checked out that tune. Nice one..Lets have steel on everything i say. I know the two tracks i put up aren't your typical psg tunes but as a session guitarist i've had to learn lots of different styles and ways of playing so that naturally gets fed into my steel playing. Don't get me wrong i love the proper country stuff too. It just may be another few years until I post those kinds of videos up here for you big boys to scrutinize.

Chris, i hadn't even noticed my foot but since you mention it i guess it does dance about a bit. I can't help it. I think maybe that comes from starting on a framus where i could have my heel on the floor and get to the pedals so now my foot just hovers or does it's own thing. Also my LKR moves about 3 miles too far so untl Mr.Adams weaves his magic on it i'm a bit erratic. Thanks for subscribing, there will be more vids soon.
