Well Roy, Here's a thing I plugged it in the first time On getting it home And I think it sounded better than my green guitar, On investigation I find whoever removed the back neck Bypassed the switch and the tone controlAnd connected the pick up directly to the output socketI have concluded that anything you put between the pick up and the amplifier sucks the tone

Mmm!! I removed the back neck but when it left me it was wired into the central plate as it would have been from original production. Tis a mystery!!
It certainly justifies being a keeper!! But then we all do it and regret it!

The attached is another regret!!

It has a beautiful set of legs in very good condition but they are standard Usa height.....I could cut them downby 1.5 inches or I could swap them with someone who needs there steel to be a little higher????

Jings, yes I suppose it is that long, time is going a tad quick these days.

A little background on that guitar John, I bought it in Southern Ireland and it formally belonged to The Irish Steel Guitar festival's Richard Nelson who used it on his travels in the US. I still have the Flight Case for it with Richard's luggage labels on it from Branson Missouri. :guitar:
