How about this tasty little 6139 that found its way home with me today ? a couple more knee levers and it will be the = of a full blown Pro 1
It has already had about 3 ton of TLC but I am not done with it yet........

Thank you Barry, here is an idea of how it sounds, I may leave it as Emmons set up but going to re position the knee levers if poss as the pedals are well over to the left on this model and the knee lever operation could be made more comfortable

OK here we go with the first lever made and fitted. It is a reversing lever and a bit more involved in the making and fitting but after blood sweat tears and some cussing here tis and yes I know I still have the stop to fit and rod the pull. As you can see I have had to use more modern hex parts for this op. but the end result will be the same

John
“Whether skies are gray or blue
Any place on earth will do
Just as long as I'm with you, my happiness”
Those words just sum up that Sho Bud shown in your video giving that lovely tone, and who needs levers when a reverse slant does the same thing as at 0.36 in the video above.
Just as well I’ve got a Mullen or I’d be thinking of this guitar to add to “My Happiness” :guitar: :guitar:
Cheers
Robert

Every now and then you come across a guitar that has "that sound" and is very special, this old Shobud is one of those and a joy to play. It now has four knee levers and it came with its original Shobud volume pedal, it really is a keeper and if anyone wants this one they better come with a wedge thick enough to choke a horse as my old mate used to say....

What a job you've done there, John. That guitar sounds great.
