Now I've had time to compose myself, Bob, lovely photographs of an old friend, I have probably covered 1000000 mls of motorway with the Blanton and it never let me down although I may have let it down. It is very easy to keep in tune, and adjust, and it is beautiful to play. Time to let it go now. Donny

Very nice feature Bob, Yes it's a lovely looking and sounding guitar. You done a good job on playing it, a very nice clip and of course the clip of the lovely man himself. Sylvi and myself always gets the chance to hear Donny practice his set in his hotel room in Ireland before his appearance on stage the next day. Always a great pleasure. Thanks to you both. :D :D

Hi Roy, Donny was with me this evening for a ‘little while’ straight from work so I sent him up to put on a clean simmit! And play me one!
As you say of the ‘room rehearsals’ with You and Silvi these more personal moments often speak volumes!
I hope somebody somewhere finds this in thirty years and 'airs it' as we do now with the Wembley memorabilia etc! ....

Same link but added content at the end!

It would be great to do a 'Personal Moments' feature with 'The Players' we have here, I could put a lengthy list together even now that could be six months work to get through!... So much talent around us just sailing over the horizon.

Bob if you had given me time I could have washed and blow dryed the hair and covered up the dod on the heid, another month I could maybe have lost 1/2 stone , put on a new simmit, but then who would have recognised me, anyway you told me you were only filming the hands, that was sneaky but I really enjoyed it, thanks, Donny.
