Dave Wheelhouse has spent the best part of the last year building one of his creations for none other than Nashville legend Tommy White. It has long been a pipe dream of Dave's to see Tommy playing one of his guitars. Following discussions between the two of them, Dave set about building a guitar for Tommy to his specification. Only one or two of us in the UK were aware of the situation, and is was a closely guarded secret. Some weeks ago, Dave asked me to pop over to his house and give Tommy's guitar the once over. As Tommy and I are Day players (that's where any similarities end) I had a little play on the guitar and it was great. I just hope that Tommy has some comprehension of the amount of work that Dave put into the guitar. The number of man hours must have been incredible. Anyway, it has all come to fruition, and Dave and Debbie Wheelhouse made the trip across the Atlantic by ship and delivered the guitar personally to Tommy. Here it is folks, and kudos to Dave for fulfilling his dream.
