John, that would make great piece for a beginners' session. Plenty of scale work, no surprises, and a good melody. Nice find, I never heard it before - and my wife's a Judy Collins buff.

A great album with great players. Steven Stills is on guitar as well! There are two other classic examples of Buddy's playing on Pity the Poor Immigrant and the Leonard Cohen song Bird on the Wire BTW, some of the tab for Someday Soon is on Buddy's web site http://www.buddyemmons.com/SoonIn.htm
