Playing around with the C6 and pedals I am on a road to discovery. Because I have been playing lap steel with a high G I naturally did the same on the pedal steel. Tony does the same hence the comment about raising string 1 half a tone. I stayed away from the D which Buddy Emmons uses only to find it would come in handy. Then hey presto - pushed on pedals 6 and 7 only to find the same interval 2 frets up on strings 2,3,4 and 5. Just need a bit of re thinking when moving from lap steel to pedal steel.

Now let me see - where did I put those spare strings?
ShoBud 6139 - Remington Steelmaster - George Boards 8 String - Gretsch Country Gent - National Twin 8 Console x 2 - National New Yorker and a shed full of guitars.
