John, I agree with your assessment of Dave. Not only is he a big talent but he is England's most underestimated steel player. As soon as I started listening to Dave's playing on Youtube, I knew that I as a builder, wanted him to have one of my steels so that I could really hear what they sound like in the hands of a master. I was not disappointed. The fact that he is a nice person and a loyal friend is all part of Dave's gentle personality.
