Sorry Marc, I have now removed the offending object and there is a little more progress here to report...... Now have the E's lower sorted as they are located right at the bottom on the push pull and difficult to get at ounce you have the pulls all in.

Just a question John. Will it be a regarded as a genuine Emmonds, or what it will it be described as?
Thanks as always

Steve, That's a good question.....What did Billy Shakespere say "A Rose by any other name would smell as sweet" I think its more Emmons than a Promat as its made from all Genuine Emmons parts but the body is Canadian Maple but they do grow great timber up there.......
on the downside ,,,, because it sports a C6th Changer I have had to adapt the end plate on the Mech side to accommodate it That means moving the end plate stop bar and drilling some more holes to access tuning so it will never quite look like the genuine article but that does not mean it cannot sound the same and play as well. I just put new strings on b4 this clip they are settling in so make allowance for that.

Sounds great John. That's the bonus when you build your own, you can leave out the bum notes.   :o :o :o

Looking and sounding great John, very professional. I imagine it will have to be a DAMONS or an EMVIS??
