Dave, Dave, calm down, lets not turn our forum into a battleground, the man cannot help it, he has a hatred of me that I have so far done nothing to deserve and I would publicly apologise for calling him a selfish, name dropping four flush turd, if i thought it would make thimgs better between us. Our forum should be a place of Brotherly love and kindness to each other.

Dave
I quite agree as nothing's is ever beyond repair ( I'm the exception. :( ) but like enything modern, economics are the deciding factor, I'm quite sure the quote below was meant as a figure of speech rather than a statement of fact

" Not a project Steven. I'm only going to store the parts in my shed, and chop the cabinet up and put it on my fire. "

I hope this puts your mind at rest and that the wood is put to good use, instead of just going up in smoke!

P.S.
When writing this I just read the last post and think the wood could be reused to make a plaque for
" Kindness and brotherly love " :P :guitar: :guitar:
No longer slummin, I’ve got a Mullen and a damn good amp as well,
they’ll be well played, if not played well, seat time alone must tell!

Here is a little update on my project, I found a little bit of piss poor engineering on the pick up mounting block as some holes were out of line, it threw me a bit of a curve but as you can see Mr.weetabix is helping me put it right.
This is still only a mock build the real timber comes early Feb.
