Tom Bradshaw's Tab Rack. Brilliant!!

Postby Ken Byng » Fri Jun 30, 2017 5:22 pm

I recently ordered one of Tom Bradshaw's Tab Racks. These music stands clip onto the front two legs of any pedal steel. Mine arrived today, and I wish I had bought one 30 years ago. An absolutely brilliant idea, and very well made of lightweight aluminium. It can hold a fairly heavy music book, or 4 or 5 A4 tab sheets. Here is a pic of one mounted to someone's Carter. They even work on Sierra's square legs. :) https://www.songwriter.com/bradshaw/tab_rack.php

That's a handy piece of kit, Ken :guitar:
Of course, absolutely no use to me as I can't seem to lift my bespectacled eyes off of my bar hand
And if we're talkin' racks, I'd be inclined to go for Holly Willoughby's
GFI Ultra keyless S10 4+5 Emmon's setup + Sigler, Li'l Izzy, Hilton volume pedal, Roland Cube 80gx, Joyo American Sound Pre-amp, Behringer VD400 Delay Pedal, Peterson Strobo Plus HD and a brace of bars, Ben's, Ezzee-Slide, Pearse, BJS, SIT nickel strings.

Good one Danny, I've just had visions of Holly Willoughby sitting in place of a rack on my steel, I'm just going to lie down for a while.
Roland amps, Telecaster, Tyros 4 and several self built steels.

For Danny and Ron. Is this what you guys are fantasising about? I think I'd prefer the tab rack as I am never likely to lay my hands on Ms Willoughby's décolletage.  The tab rack has more practical applications for me than fantasising over a TV star's boobs. :o

Aye, that's the very dab, Ken  While I can fully appreciate the benefits of Tom's rack, these are lost on me because it's eyes down when I'm parked behind the steel :(
So when I'm having a go at "For These Are My Mountains" or "Do Wa Diddy Diddy", I find that visualising helps me rise to the occasion

But, back to the topic; it does look like an extremely handy piece of kit :guitar:
