Danny, I remember sitting on a bench in lobby of the Westin Hotel, where Jamboree used to be held, talking to Norm Hamlett AND Ralph Mooney, lovely gentlemen, saw them play later.

By the way Danny do you have the standard split on your RKR lever on your GFI? The split on mine is on RKL which I think is a bit strange...but maybe not. RKR does the normal thing dropping the 2nd string from D# to C# but as there is no split there you have to drop to D by ear. I'll have a good look under it tonight to see what exactly is going on

my RKL raises F# to G/G# which does give a nice minor chord at the split


I meant to say half stop, sorry for any confusion!
Anyway its better now just had to increase the tension on the 9th string spring

Just thought I'd update this as I've finally fixed my half stop feel. Checked the rod chart and noticed that the 9th string rod was in the wrong hole on the bellcrank, put it in the correct hole and bingo I can now feel the half stop and don't have to guess anymore :)
