I had these photo's sent to me from a friend in the West Country and could'nt believe
what my eyes beheld !
I'ts a Fender 400 by the look of it with two added knee levers, one being a door handle and
the other a car jack handle, I take my hat off for the inginuity and inventiveness, whether
they work efficiently I don't know, full marks to the guy anyhow !!

Basil Henriques invented this technique as I discovered his old Black Emmons at the "Galtimore" many years ago......
His prototype used a large set of mole grips for lever operation ....... he must have had a grip like a Gorrilla! to change the "angle of the dangle" but it did not detract for a nano second his amazing playing back then

Baz, what a cracking set up, are those molegrips Stanley or Record? I must get some,I only have the old standard Emmons knee levers on mine, also! -how did you get that lovely aged patina look ?
