This is my pedal board that i have beenworking on for quite some time, and is now gig ready, my idea was to have vulnerable pedal connections raised off the floor, away from the singers size 11's, and to have control within reach of my steel guitar, and no trailing vulnerable 9v cable across the stage, where you know sooner or later its gonna get broken,
the case has a removable lid, and sits securely onto an adapted heavey duty music stand, by virtue of a 'V' clip on the underside, the case features a false bottom, in which the 9v daisy chain cables are hidden, so no messy tangle of leads,
the 9v adaptor pedal feed, is into a 13 amp socket, and a euro plug adaptor powers the whole thing up,
the top row four pedals are an MXR 6 BAND EQ, ELECTRO HARMONIX ANALOG DELAY, ELECTRO HARMONIX REVERB and an MXR MICRO PRE AMP into my volume pedal, and into the steel
the bottom row features an independant KORG PITCHBLACK CHROMATIC TUNER, which powers all the other pedals via a daisychain connection, then into my lead guitar are an MXR 6 BAND GRAPHIC EQ, MXR GT OVERDRIVE, ELECTRO HARMONIX ANALOG DELAY and MXR MICRO PRE AMP from the reverb channel of my twin channel MUSICMAN valve combo
i have invested a lot of thought, money and work into this custom pedal board, using good quality and quiet pedals, and key to the really good sound i am getting, are the two MXR pre amps, i have control at my fingertips, and an easy and neat set up,
the pedals are set in place by virtue of silicone adhesive, so will not be falling all over the place when in transit, but removable if required,

hmmm! nothin' against anyone who sits in front of their webcam, and plays to a backing track, seen a few good ones, seen a few dodgy ones, its just not my thing, not what i do, even if i knew how to do it, very brave thing to do, putting yourself on the line like that, im far happier being part of live gigging band, what i did do on the old site was have my home recording put on the forum, Basil was good enough to host my recordings and post them for me, i dont have the know how how to host or post my recordings, maybe 'mein host' basil could post my recording of hickory wind, that would be ok by me, but as for webcamming? no, much more prefer to play with a live band, played last night with a 7 piece band in Sligo, 2 guitars, bass, drums, female vocals, fiddle and me on steel and mandolin, awesome, now thats what i really get off on, money was not great, but buzz was awesome, and it stretched me to play with some class musicians, oh and i was well pleased with my pedal board, worked a treat,

Hallo Eddie !
I looked with interest at your pedal board/case as it makes mine , which I've been using for about a year
now look sad, and was a prototype which was never made to look presentable, never got around to it !
I only use for effects the Zoom G2 and a Behringer Tube thingy as I get all the settings for my steel and
guitar from it ( not bad really, the tourists have'nt complained yet ! ), also a Boss Crossover pedal for
switching between steel and guitar, the two guitars in, one out to the desk jack sockets and power in
are located at the side and means, as you have done , doing away with all the connecting leads, just
three pluged in.
It ain't the prettiest bit of kit on the block but does the job. I mentioned that I go straight into the
mixing desk, this is because my co- singer/musican packed the van wrong and the PA speaker slid
forward straight into the back of my '74 Pro Reverb and buggered it ! It has been in the local music
shop for the last four months awaiting the "engineer" to look at it, I won't hold my breath !

hi frank, i like your jack and mains inputs on the side of the case, i thought about doing that, but opted for using angled jack 'planet waves' leads, into and out of the two rows of pedals, 4 leads to be plugged in, and what i didn't mention, there were two incarnations of my pedal board before i settled on this one, i did use the boss AB2 like you do, and it works very well, doesnt colour the tone in any way, as its a straight relay pedal, but decided i wanted both lead and steel 'live' as i do a lot of split instrumentals, which i find is hard enough, picking up the bar when changing to steel from lead, without having a switch to contend with, but i always keep my BOSS AB2 switch with me, a very handy device, but yeah, seems we had the same idea for easy, uncluttered pedal boards, i opted for the mxr size pedals, for maximum pedals in a small case, plus i do like the mxr and electro harmonix nano range of pedals
