Hi Again
I have decided to try and get this pedal steel guitar working as it is for myself in the mean time what I see that has been done so far is as follows in the undercarriage :::
Pedal A... Raise 5 & 10
" B....Raise 3 & 6
" C....Raise 4 & 5

L K L... seems to go through 4th middle hole on end-plate and raise 8 ??

L K R.... connected to double yoke but not to any of the fingers.

R K L... Lower 2nd

I hope this all makes sense I am going to get this steel playing so if I had the tuning for a 12 string 3+3.
I have read that I can tune as a 10 string with 11 and 12 as lower notes or should I string it as a 10 string for learning please give me your honest opinion on what would be the best way to go as it is just for myself to learn.
Yes maybe I should have bought a PSG that didn't need any work but as I said before I like challenge's, but having said that sometimes you can bite off more than you can chew  .
So what I want to do is get it working the PUP is 100% its just the LKL and LKR need sorted to where they should be.
I need the connectors for the pedal rods, where can I get them :?: ??.

I found this setup would this be the way for me to go http://www.b0b.com/infoedu/e9theory.htm only 11 and 12 to sort or stay with 10 strings ??
Let me know what you guys think .

Thanks

Robin

The LKL raises strings 4 and 8 a semitone.
Because string 4 is raised a tone by pedal C, another method has to be found to raise it only a semitone.
That is why the tuner for the 4th string semitone raise is in the middle row of holes in the endplate.
If you look at the rod that goes from the LKL to the 4th string, you should see another bit of rod welded to it, which goes through the middle hole in the endplate.

LKR lowers strings 4 and 8 a semitone, and as you have the yoke assembly already there on your steel, it's just a simple case of adding the rods.

Hi Zebedee
Yes another piece of rod is welded to the rod going from LKL to the 4th string although it is missing the screw on the end plate no sure where I am going to get one have to have a good look for one.

Yes I am beginning to understand this ZB changer better, I have looked at pictures of the ZB undercarriage mechanism and can't understand why the guy didn't let it stay in this PSG, It looks a strong mechanism.
Thanks
Robin
