Tip for sweaty fingers (if you ever have them)

In a previous post I wrote about a really good night I had at my monthly Bulkington gig, well there was more to it than just the experience........
When I got the guitar out of the box I discovered the strings were caked in salt from my sweaty fingers from the previous gig where I had been cooked by stage lighting...... the bar was really not interested in sliding up and down on them and it was way too late to change them....what the hell to do.... so, I rattled around in the bottom of my "Walker seat" and came up with a sandpaper stick-it disk 320 grade! now I am not recommending this to anyone, all I am saying is "it worked for me" a quick rub top and bottom and Whoop-de-doo! The stick-it disk is a keeper.
