I was given one of these about 25 years ago but it was logo'd ROTOSOUND and a horrible shade of orange.
When I contacted Rotosound I was informed that they marketed it on behalf of Gordon Huntley and another chap whose name escapes me (maybe this is the Denley connection?).
Wish now that I'd kept that letter - it would probably be an interesting a wee bit of British Steelie history.
As for the guitar.... it looked like it had been designed and made in a BIG hurry (no bearings and crudely machined parts).
The only use I could find for it was to use the body as a shelf in my workshop.

They made me a twin 8 in 1966, it would not stay in tune..I posed for this picture, played it one night and gave it back to them..

My first pedal steel was a rotosound, bright orange. Just the way my face went.

Hey Donny, I wonder if that was the same one I had?
A chap by the surname Kelly from the Paisley area gave it to me: He was a joiner who was a friend of my Dad.
Wouldn't be surprised if it WAS the same guitar - back in those days, PSGs were rarer than Conservatives in this part of Scotland, so I doubt if there was more than one up here!!
