Could any of the Lap community tell me what tunings he's using,please?
I really love this, and the brush on the double bass works a treat,I've witnessed the polyrythmic Tommy Emanuel using this, his guitar looked like it had been through the wars.

I should point out (in case you didn't notice) that Kayton has tuned the high E on his C6/A7 down a semitone for that tune.
Also interesting to hear him using that bass A string around the 17 second mark.

Ha, ha, no, that subtlety slipped by me! So that gives Kayton a diminished triad and I (did) notice that he bends the string behind the bar. Fascinating. I've seen Bob Adams pull that move on psg.

He is a fantastic player. Good learning curve to convert from youtube and slow down for some of his runs. He also retains that old early sound.
