There are a number of 'Show Us Your...........' threads on the USA steel forum. There are a good number of Sho~Bud owners in the UK, and I thought it might be fun to see some of our forum members post pics of their Sho~Buds here. I will kick off with a pic of my old Pro 111 Custom, which was completely renovated by Bob Adams a few years ago. The guitar is an 8 + 6 D10, and I became the owner of it new around 1978. The guitar was starting to look beaten up after 30 plus years on the road, and as it had provided me with a living during that period, I felt that it deserved a really nice facelift. Bob stripped it back from its brown finish to the bare wood, and sprayed it with a nice sunburst after I provided him with a template to work from. All of the metalwork was polished to a mirror finish. The guitar is still a permanent member of my herd, and one that will stay with me for the rest of my days.

Here's mine Ken, getting old now but still plays like a dream, and still HEAVY.

Here's Steve Sr's Pro 1.
It's been a very busy Bud over the years and has been gigged all over the UK.
He got it brand new in 1981. Apart from 3 knee levers fitted by Ronnie Bennett in the 90's it is totally original to this day.
It's still got that great classic Bud sound!

I only ever did that once Nick, and it rained all night too,
- I have double checked my driveway ever since to make sure that everything has been loaded up. I was really lucky. That guitar has been all round Europe with me, and sounds really good. It was stolen out of my car once too, and I got it back 2 days later after I threatened the thief with a claw hammer!.

Thanks Roy. I figure that there must be dozens of LDG's in the UK - some still active and some tucked away under beds etc.
