Gentlemen,
It is my solem and most unpleasant Duty to reluctantly have to publicly name and shame a member of our forum for the willful disgusting horrendous abuse of neglect to an exceptionally beautiful old lady Sid Farley is guilty beyond doubt of the neglect of this lovely double ten Showbud from the 70s, Her boots probably from the original manufacturer were in a dire state and she struggled to stand in them maybe the fact that there was no pedal bag contributed to that and she certainly deserved one !
But the worst crime of all was undoubtedly the pedal bar, the receptionist here at the showbud workshop (Tammy) Who knows nothing about steel guitars burst into tears at the sight of the pedal bar The grease and grime and the lack of decal And general neglect was more than any of us could stand.
The fitting of the fifth knee lever went very well and she is once again ready to play her heart out for this man even after this callus neglect.

John, you are a true gentleman! Despite the well-deserved public shaming, I am extremely grateful to you (as always) for the help you've given me with this guitar. Thank you ever so much for this - I'm hoping that extra knee lever will open up a whole world of chords on the back neck that should keep me busy for the next few years
And I apologise to Tammy for the state of the pedal bar. I'll bring her some treats when I'm down to see you!
