Any ideas?

Can anyone tell me what these could have come off of?and what they may be worth.The two that look like ZB pickups have Bass and Trebble on the bottoms ,the other one I think came off a Rotosound,but not sure so I thought I would ask.

Hi Jimmy - the two black pups are Cyril Pocock's (Leeds, late 60's - 70's). He made several of 6, 8 and 10 poles. They need a pre amp, so no real value these days I'm afraid, but they did get a few guys home-making steel guitars. I've still got a 10 pole! They were fitted on "Wy-Sea-Ki" lap guitars, the ill fated "Serenade" guitars and the Remuda which came out of the same stable as the Serenade and the later Mustang - and on the guitar here with dearly departed Kealoha - what a great character!

Mary and Alfred Hollis-Randall, aka Mr & Mrs Kealoha Life. Mary was a lovely lady, who suffered horribly from cancer in her last months on this planet. I visited her on the day before she passed away, and she was so frail bless her. As Basil stated, Alfie was indeed a real character. A multi linguist, who called himself a cunning linguist, he was a highly intelligent guy who originally came from South African. Probably the best lap steel player that I've ever seen.

Hi Jimmy,
I agree with Tony re:- the Black pick ups, They were made by Cyril Proctor.
I had several from him in 1971/72 when I just started building lap & pedal steels, some with different string spacing.
Iv'e still got the original receipt & paper list of items he sold.

The white one was made by Len Dixon for Denley steels, he made them in Black (as standard) and White, with different strings spacing too.
The design & shape of the ends were changed from square to rounded off, to suit the customers cut-out in the steels neck, so that one you have was probably a custom one.

Well just out of curiosity I thought I would try the two Cyril Pockocks pickups,I just wonder if maybe the two pickups I have were wound differently than some of the other pickups that he made that I am told need a preamp,Anyway I soldered on a jack socket slid each of them under the strings at the changer end,they are very slim,I set the amp at the settings I use for indoors,and compared the output with the installed pickup, the tone was different but there was no loss of volume between the two pickups,and the bass pickup sounded great.Also I found out that they both work fine.
