newbie needs tuition

Postby big john » Sat Aug 06, 2016 9:41 am

hiya,

l am VERY new to the lap steel scene.
l am a 75 year old bloke looking to find some tuition in the norwich area, l am happy to travel 40 or 50 miles.
l have had some lessons from 'guitar' players but they have no knowledge of lap steel
if someone can point me in the right direction l would be most gratefull.

thanks in advance

Hi Big John, welcome aboard, I heard you died in a mining accident :? so glad you survived it :D The best and closest plank player that I know near you is Mick Hearn and a valued member of this site ..... not sure if he teaches but he can play the B'Jesus out of a plank....... will give it some more thought see if I can come up with any more....
