Harmonised scales

I had an epiphany moment today that i thought i would share. I was looking at a chart posted on the US forum by Guy Cundell showing the AB and F lever harmonies scales using 3 different sets of 2 strings in the key of G major (all of which start on fret 3). It did not have the D lever scale so I was trying to work out how that fitted with the other scales. I worked out that the D lever scale (starting at fret 8) is exactly the same notes as the F lever scale (starting at fret 3) : D lever strings 5+8 = F lever strings 4+6. D lever strings 4+5 = F lever strings 3+4.
Most of you probably already knew that but it was a revelation to me today

Don't know if Guy covered this but it sounds better to descend the scale or fill/lick using the D lever rather than the A&F lever probably because the string is lowering with the bar. Try it A&F ascending D lever descending.
