Postby JohnDavisStringsHere » Tue Feb 26, 2019 8:11 am

Here you go Sid, you only need the lever that lowers the third and your pedals, I think it was about the first B.Emmons teaching aid that I can remember but it will start you moving around the back neck............ and we all want to hear you play it  Don't we guy's?? I hope it helps you (and anyone else that's interested.....

Thank you, John!! :guitar:  :guitar:
You're right - I have been a steel guitar owner for just over a year now and it's about time I got to grips with the back neck. Especially since I insisted on getting a ridiculously heavy guitar with a C6 neck on it (in the mistaken belief that my lap steel playing may be helpful to my learning!)
I'll give you a call later on and sort out a time to visit - I think I may need your help to tinker slightly with the undercarriage of my guitar here and there, but I'm sure we will be able to get it set up to take on this challenge:)
I may even make a start this very evening... :guitar:
