OK Guys, I have a real soft spot for the old Lennon-McCartney classics, and "Michelle" is one of them. I have been wondering how to do that lovely descending line in the bass under the line Ï will say the only words I know that you'll understand". Try this:
[tab]
---------Fm-------------FmMaj7--------------Fm7----------------Fm6------------------DbMaj7----------------------C7-----
1. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. ----------9E-----------------9E------------------9E----------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. ----------9------------------9--------------------9----------------------11A----------------11----11A----11--------8-------
6. ----9---------------------------------------------------------------------11B----------------11B----------------------8-------
7. ----------------------9G-------------------9-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8. -------------------------------------------------------------------11E---------------------------------------------------------
9. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------11------------------------------8------
10. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [\tab]
This seems to do the job nicely, I'm pleased with it. In the DbMaj7, roll onto the 11A on string 5 then off again.
My pedals and levers are : LKL = E (flattens E's) RKL = G (raises 7).
You may get the same result with a LKV to flatten the 6th string instead.
Happy Picking!
