Actually John I play that lick a bit simpler than you show, it's just the Tom Brumley 'Together Again' riff using strings 3 and 5.

Play 3 and 5 with the A pedal down, release A pedal half way, then release it all the way, then slide back one fret, pressing the B pedal whilst doing so :D

Ahh The Tom Brumley lic, thought that one would soon surface but I think this one is more Hughey than Brumley ( I could be wrong but I love them both....)
