First, Thank you guys for the response, getting some feedback is the lifeblood of this type of effort, if you feel you are peeing against the wind .... nothing stops you quicker.
Willie I am no techno geek just plugged a camera into the pc and it asked if I would like to import video I said yes please and it did then I clicked on the upload button on Youtube and it did! easy peasy.... but I am so thick I had to have Marc point out I was not putting the clips on here in the correct way (see his post above) but now I have the info (spelled out to me ) Whoop-de -doo I can do it....
The number of topic views would indicate to me that more than 5 of you have had a go at these lics or could already use them so did not think it worth responding, Please respond it will encourage others to share what they know......
Calum, I am sorry did not quite understand the question, but if you can add something to the lic to make it go a little further that would be great. Show us if you can....
When you find that sweet sounding lic, make sure you incorporate it into your playing but, neither play it "To death" or neglect it as I have been guilty on both counts due to my limited knowledge of music.
More to come (if its required) in the meantime, Dive in and show us something .......

John it is awesome that you take so much time to contribute to this forum. Many of us are just "watchers" but that doesn't mean we don't appreciate your efforts. Keep them coming.

You seem to have got the hang of the
BOLD phpBB tag a long time ago, though

John, I enjoyed the two videos you posted, did not quite get that first Ray Pricey lick, at least it don't sound anything like in your vid when I try it, the cause is probably with me. I did though get 2 lics out of the second video that I will try to incorporate in my playing. 1. The BC E-lower lick on strings 4,3, and then 2. The lick you got from Shakey.
Thanks very much for sharing, keep them coming, I'm not yet in a position to share anything that you guys don't already know or can use. But I'm getting there slowly.

Johan, Les and Shakey just about cover my limited abilities... Where do I start?
(Although the Ray Price lick can be found for us beginners, as follows...)
Strings 8,6&5 throughout.
And any bar position, depending on key (First position determines the key)
Open position let's say G, so fret 3
Remember string grip 8,6,5
The lick goes open; add A pedal, then move up 3 frets and add F lever only. you can also take it back down, same way you came up.
Limited, I know, but I can't tab, can't scan, can't video, can't upload (and can't play very well, but we can skate over the last bit).
I've probably got a least another 2 or 3 licks if my fan club wishes....

Ha Ha Marc you got me there, the one and only time I ever looked at the tag line above the topics I guess, but its just me trying to be different, I am known for Bum notes and bold type....
Here is Nicks explanation in video, many thanks for the input Nick.

I still can't figure out what you're doing, John. Fret 1 has A pedal and F lever, Fret 3 has A+B but what's happening on fret 2? Whatever I try, it sure don't sound like your demo!

Nick if you have the E lever raised on the first fret,,,, its in neutral on the second fret,,, and its lowered on the third fret also on the second fret your A and B pedals are going down and being "Milked" for "that sound" then as you get to the third fret lowering your E lever you are again milking that A pedal.
There you go
Nick its a smooth move.... a bit like Exlax..... oops are we allowed to advertise on here??
