If I've got a brand new move to show the world I'll keep it a secret until it's out there, but I'm happy to show if people want it.
I was hesitant of showing the C pedal move until a later date for the same reason, but when I realized Tommy White already did it and in turn the fact I wasn't actually a complete genius... I thought I'd show you.
In terms of the big names, some don't share for monetary and some for ego reasons, but I have found that some players can get legal trouble for it so are scared of doing videos. A big player told me he struggles to teach his own solos on big hits because the publisher owns the music outright potentially leading to lawsuits.
