Excellent as usual Mr Davis, keep em coming. I am sure this will be of benefit to some of the more experienced players too.

So many that used to post and no longer do I know one or two have given up and several have past but I would still like to see it get busy again......

Well, I managed to carve out a bit of time over the weekend and had some reasonable success! Thanks again John for posting this one - I've had to practise quite a bit to get a couple of the moves as they were new to me, but it seems to be coming together. I will attempt to post a video of my playing along to the karaoke track before the Christmas holidays are over.

Cheers, Sid

John,
I've played normal 6 string guitar for 60 years but Been a 'newbie' lap steel player for only one year, no fancy playing, just plucking along to some old Country records. I appreciate what you do on here with your down to earth approach to playing, you make it look so easy! so thank you.

At 76 years old (should have done this 50 years ago) I am going to 'dip my toes' into the frustrating world of pedal steel guitar ( Ron Bennett is making one for me because I am left handed) it wont be ready until the new year so I have taken on board tips like "nail a cushion to the wall" for when you are banging your head on it! And "keep pictures of your loved ones nearby" so you can recognize them in the street" because you will spend so much time in your room!

Regards,
Baz.

John,
always appreciate anything you "professionals" put up on any of the tabs. I have not been on this tab before as it is always aimed at the PSG players as opposed to the 6 string plank player like me.
I will however browse from time to time just to listen to your clips.
Happy new Year everybody.
Dave.

Great lesson this John. There is a challenge for me for Christmas. I'll get knuckled down to this one.

The tune suits the steel really well.
