He's got some great C6 lap steel instruction on there too. He's an excellent teacher. Very well paced, very clear.

Cheers for this! Just what I need to get started. All the stuff on YouTube is generally just taster snippets for pay-for online tuition.

"online lesson video" tends to be a bit like that. Try Micky Adams channel Loads on there.

They look like great lessons - I've had a good go at the first and had a quick look at 2 and 3. Any one got any advice on the best way to download the vids - I have a macbook Thanks, Haydon

Here are the urls for downloading the videos
All videos are in .f4v format so you need to have a video player that can show this format.
VLC Media Player from VideoLAN is a really good one which works on most Operating systems (Windows, Mac OS X, Linux...)
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
NB! Don't download this software from any other place than this! There are some versions that include malware!!

One thing! There seems to be some limit on how much you can download (or how fast) so download one video
before you you download the next. You may even have to wait between downloads to get it to work.
But you can always play the video you have downloaded and download the next when you are watching the first again...

Many thanks Anders.
I've downloaded Lesson 1 onto the mac using Download shuttle (free) from the App store. Then I managed to play it with Quick Time Player which is on the mac - showing now what I don't know! But I can't get it to copy/move/whatever onto my iPad - possibly not massively important but would be good ….. I think I need a converter of some sort….. any ideas gratefully received.
Happy days.
Haydon

Not being a Mac or iPad user I can only direct you to this article, which I found via google, and hopefully it will help you.

EDIT: It helps if one insert the URL
