Yesterday, I had the pleasure of helping Matt Park with his new guitar and was amazed at his progress for someone thats been playing steel for such a short time, he is nought but a lad but sharp as a shithouse rat!!. Every now and then someone like that comes along and you can see the talent and determination in them (another Melvin Duffy!?!?) possibly??
Anyway, when Uncle Bob has made a few tweaks on that cherry guitar...... look out Elparkiro is coming

Hey John, thank you for your kind words. Did you get anyone in tonight? If no one went that is a travesty. I would've loved to have come up but i've really got to watch the pennies this month. I'll be up in the new year though with bells on.

In the meantime and in my absence, someone take the spaces available. John is a master player and a great teacher and we should honour the fact that he is willing to show newbies like us the tricks of the trade. He makes a good cuppa too.
