Good stuff John :guitar: those are nice changes in that tune.

Thanks for the post :D Although I'd have to be kept away from the distaff for at least a week before I'd consider giving you a hug and kiss

Danny if it were not for you I would feel like I am peeing against the wind! Maybe this stuff is too basic to get a response and all the newbies already have this info? I don't know but I wish when I started playing someone had explained to me about those three basic chord positions up the neck of the guitar..... For the first 20 years I only knew about pedals up and pedals down ! What a revelation when I stumbled on that third one! But then I suppose most have theory and can work it out for themselves if they learn properly to start with...... :?

Keep it up John. I'm sure people are getting something from your posts.
I think there will always be something new to discover on this instrument. As far as I'm concerned every day is a school day :guitar: and your contributions are much appreciated. :D

Absolutely agree! I haven't had a chance to practise this one whilst sitting at the guitar yet, but this kind of information is extremely valuable to learners like me! Please do keep them coming.

Re. any assumption that newbies know some theory, the range is probably extremely wide - some will know absolutely nothing, others may know nearly everything. But my experience leads me to believe that it's a damn sight easier to learn quickly if someone shows you something, than it is to work it out from first principles!

With that in mind, you'll be pleased to know I've got most of those changes down that you showed me for "Set 'em up Joe" last week :guitar: Possible video to follow (proof!) at some point in the near future...
