Jason,

Thanks for spotting that, I wonder if I can fudge it for my U12 - if I add 2 to all the string numbers etc, and add 1 to the fret numbers I might be onto something. I love the warmer sound of the C6 side of things - I got the U12 to have the best of both worlds.

Does anybody know this guy, Bengt Erlandsen? He has posted a lot of very good stuff in the past including the famous PF solo in the Walk of Life. Clearly a very good player.

I don't play C6 myself, but have written a Perl script that builds scale charts.

I have run it, using the tuning I found on the Emmons tuning page, to generate a page of C6 Scales that I have loaded to my website, maybe of use to someone.

i never met or communicated w: Bengt, but i appreciated his contributions on the mother ship
he knows what he's talking about 4 sure
he does pop in every once in a while but like many of the good ones, he greatly contributed & then layed low
let the newbies use the search funktion & let the master sail his ship to greater horizons

Alan, I'd be interested in having a look at the perl script if that's possible?

Alan, is there a way to print those scales so I can get maybe two per page? (Feeling thick for asking, but...)

Will

I haven't included any print page-break formatting at the moment. I may look into that.

You could try selecting the whole page and copy / paste into a word processor and adding page breaks.
I use a linux system and to be honest this doesn't work very well for me (tried firefox and chromium pasting into libreoffice writer) I lose too much formatting.
