Not really interested in the 'covering gigs' aspect, wouldn't want to (probably could not) sit in on a country gig ain't my bag, but the map of locations has grabbed my interest particularly the diagonal Portsmouth to the wash I think I might be situated on... spooky ... a steeler ley line perhaps?

I'm at around 51.7N 0.4W and typically gig within a radius of 70mi.

I doubt if any band would be happy for me to cover for an experienced country player as I have been playing PSG for only a year, though I am currently gigging with a singer-songwriter. Perhaps I should set my radius to the garden hedge?

I have ventured as far as Cinderford with a tailwind and will be playing in Bath next Thursday night.
