lap steel new member first post

Hi
I'm a new member here, just waiting to get my first post approved. I build lap steels as well as play them, but I have to say I build far better than I play. I draw my inspiration from early country music such as Hank Williams and others of that era, as well as more modern artists such as Wayne Hancock.
Looking forward to being part of this community.

Hi Andrew, I love that style of music too - love Tony Locke's playing also Lee Jeffrries from Big Sandy & The Flyrite Boys. There are some good players on the UK scene. Have you heard Rusti Steel?
