MMA Musical MIDI Accompaniment

I use Linux and have been looking for software that could generate backing tracks similar to BIAB which I believe will only run under wine on linux os.

Came across MMA, any one tried it?

It seems a bit clunky and graphics front ends available are looking a bit problematical.

I know this is slightly off topic, but folks might find this useful for audio Bts not midi.

The best backing tracks by far are on karaoke version.com Multi tracks you can custom to your needs. These are for songs rather than BIAB which I have used for years.
There will not be many country tracks, but you can buy pink floyd tracks and play the lap parts for instance.
