Spotify for backing tracks

Tue Jun 11, 2013 12:48 pm

I wondered if anyone had any experience with using Spotify's premium service to download instrumental backing tracks to play steel with. If you've used it, was it easy to set up?

I have tried Spotify Wil lbut too many adverts unless you pay for the premium service. I get my BT's from either iTunes @ approx. 79p per track, Ameritz who quit often have 24 hr sales when tracks cost 24p, or Amazon @ about 89p

I use Spotify free version, but if you like the track, don't play it all the way throu more than three time or it locks out.
I have Adobi Audition 1.0, set it to record and then play the song, then it's on your computer and you can do what you want with it.

I have a Mac and was wondering if anyone knows if there is a foot pedal available to start and stop backing tracks on the computer?
