Michael Nesmith

I have just learned that Michael Nesmith has passed away today, age 78. He was a hero of mine. I first heard him on the album Magnetic South with the 1st National Band and Red Rhodes on steel. He dared to be different. RIP, Donny.

Another huge loss to the world of music.
Just loved all Mike’s music plus the great playing of steel guitarist Red Rhodes.
Mike loved steel guitar and also owed several.
I have been fortunate to own almost every album the Nez recorded.
All the great musicians that we have recently passed are copied but can never be the real deal.
R.I.P The Nez.
